Allbirds had a problem every purpose-driven brand eventually faces: people respected them, but nobody lusted after them. The Tree Runner — made from eucalyptus tree fiber — was a great product trapped in a dutiful brand narrative. The brief was clear: make sustainability desirable, not just admirable.
Target audience: urban professionals 25-40 who wear Nike, New Balance, or Veja. They care about sustainability but won't sacrifice style for it.
"I want to make good choices. But I don't want good-actor trophies. I want to be admired, not applauded."
Luca dug into the real tension: every sustainable choice this audience has ever made came with a tax. The ugly reusable tote. The clunky electric car. The "earth-first" shoes that look like they'd rather be hiking than seen at dinner. They've been forced to choose between being good and being wanted.
The Tree Runner isn't a compromise shoe. It's a shoe that happens to be made from trees — and it should be the most desirable everyday sneaker they've ever seen.
Flip the script on sustainability marketing. Every eco-brand says "buy this because it's better for the world." We said: "buy this because it's better, period. The world just happens to agree with your desire."
This isn't green marketing. This is desire marketing that happens to be green. Lead with want. Let the sustainability be the bonus, not the pitch.

Hours 4-12: Marco (Producer) takes Luca's creative package, searches MeiGen for proven templates matching each visual direction, and generates 8 finished ads through Nanobanana 2 with integrated typography and brand elements.
Hours 12-24: Ari (Account Manager) packages the deliverables — finished ads, mockups, asset specs — and delivers to the client.
No rounds of revisions that take weeks. No creative blocks. No meetings. Just the work.
